How i accent my eyes ♡ - 12/07/2012

Hellooooo everyone!~~

So i decided on making a sort of picture tutorial showing how i do my makeup to accent some of my features. One thing that's super cool about being half asian / half european is that i can make myself appear either very much asian, or very much white x.x it's pretty cool lol.

One thing i love experimenting with is eyeliner shape, & recently i found the shape i love the most~

Things i use daily:

L'oreal black pencil liner
Revlon Colorstay liquid liner
Physician's Formula mineral loose powder foundation
Burt's Bees lotion with mica
Sephora makeup brush~

So here's how i do maaa makeup:

As you can see, i have HELLA FRECKLES. I hate them, but ooohhh well. Scottish genes lol --w-- ;

So i put lotion all over my face so it's sticky, then applied foundation all over, including my eyelids. Resulting in freckle-less, clear skin~

After foundation, i line my eyes with pencil first, normally starting around the edge of my pupil, and ending at the end of my eye. I never line my entire top, as lining about an inch away results in a more dramatic effect.

After the pencil, i go over it with liquid to prevent smudging. Then i wing out the bottom in a STRAIGHT line angled slightly downwards.

After that i fill in the rest of the top~

I find that this makeup is very simple and really accents my eyes well, and the straight line is more shape-complimenting than any other eyeliner make i've tried before. (/ w \)

-It's really hard, believe me. More so if you're still in middle/highschool. I know. But what I realized is, you only have one life to live as yourself. You mine as well do what makes you happy, WEAR what makes you happy, express yourself and never ever ever conform. You are unique, don't be a follower, stand out and shine with all your beautiful uniqueness and show the world who you really are :3 and that's pretty much what I realized.
