D.I.Y Tattoo Tights & My Fairy Kei OOTD☆ - 2/18/2013
Hello cupcakes ♪
I hope you all are well! I have another tutorial for you :3 as well as a tiny post about my OOTD based on the colorful Japanese street fashion Fairy Kei~~
Now, I'm sure most of you are aware of this new trend of tattoo tights! They're nude tights with all sorts of designs on them to give the illusion of the design being on your legs. Pretty neat, huh? ♥
They usually run from $5 - $20, but instead of waiting close to a month for shipping, I decided to make some of my own ; I did do a little poorly on the first pair though ..
so for the final result, I'm going to use a picture of my 2nd pair!
I'm doing the design with a big solid heart over each knee!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
1. A pair of nude, non-sheer tights
2. A regular pen & permanent marker
3. A design you like, or freehand it! ✩
Step 1: Put the tights on and determine where you would like your design to go. Make a couple marks to make a note of it! (sidenote - yes, I photoshopped my nails LOL. They were chipping :c )
Step 2: Very carefully (so the pen doesn't smudge ; - ;) put the tights back on to make sure it looks right to you. Then take them back off and lightly trace your shape ♪
Step 3: Go over your shape with permanent marker and let it set
OVERNIGHT! This is extremely important, I tried them on once again after going over the design and the market smeared all over my tights, slightly ruining the effect.
Step 4: Once they've dried, try them on & fall in love with your new beauties made all by yourself!

Pigtail bows are handmade by me, kandi bracelets are handmade by me, sweater is from Forever 21, tattoo tights made by me, legwarmers are my mother's from her ballet class, & sneakers are from a brand called Royal Elastics ♡
Fairy Kei is such an amazing, rich fashion style! It's outrageous and colorful and I just love everything about it, it's so me~~

I've fallen more for the simpler look in the 3rd picture than in the 1st, but BELIEVE me, I love it ALL ♡ falling more & more in love with Tokyo fashion every day!

OOTD & Today's Purchases ☆ - 11/25/2012
Hii everyone!
This morning i went to bobaloca + marukai with my mom, & this was my outfit:
Also as you can see, i went kind of.. overboard today at the market, heheheheee >3< i spent roughly around $25-$30 today, which is a LOT for someone who doesnt have a job. But it was well worth it, i got some yummy snacks & a rilakkuma phone charm for only $3.40!
But all the japanese stuff was only $12, i spent more money later on at the Santa Clarita street fair supporting some small handmade soap/scent businesses which i will put a review up for right now!
I also painted my nails again, i got bored of my strawberry nails（−＿−；) so i painted them plain lilac with 99 cent polish from sally's ♥
Then headed to my dad's house at valencia, gonna be staying here until wednesday cus my mom's getting leg surgery & stuffs. Times like these make me thank buddha for online school lolol.

Thanksgiving OOTD! ♡ -

So this is what i wore for thanksgiving, i felt super duper cute hehe. >3< seriously, choice of clothing can either be your BIGGEST or WORST self-esteem boost. I paired this with black over-the-knee socks from american apparel. :3
It was a pretty good evening, lots of family friends were there and i got to talk to miyochan one on one for one of the first times ever~
I've been trying to express my sense of style a little more, & although i get some weird looks, i think in the end it's pretty worth it knowing that I'm expressing myself and how I feel I look + feel my best in. I have so much respect for everyday lolitas for this because I'm sure the looks and side remarks weren't easy in the beginning!
